>> Dual & High temperature Difference Thermoelectric Cooling Modules (DHTEC)
Item No. Explanation: TExR-yyyzzTcc
TE: Theroelectric Modules
x: Area of section of N/P (C = >1mm2, S = <1mm2)
R: R=1: Single stage; R=2: Dual stage
yyy: No. of couples
zz: Max. current (A)
T: Single Side Metalized
cc: Max. Operating Temperature (ˇăC)
PARAMETER Definitions:
Imax The current that produce the maximum DT [DTmax] (in Amps)
Umax The Voltage that is produced at DTmax when I = Imax (in Volts)
Important: Never operate a module at maximum Vmax ! Always at 70 to 75% of Vmax.
Qc Amount of heat that can be absorbed at the cold side face of the TEC (in watts)
Qmax Maximum amount of heat that a TE cooler can remove at the cold side.
This occurrs at I = Imax and when DT = 0. (in Watts).
Th Temperature of the hot side face of the TEC (in ˇăC)
Tc Temperature of the cold side face of the TEC (in ˇăC)
DT Hot side temperature of the TE Cooler minus the cold side temperature of the module.
Temperatures are referenced at the ceramic substrates of the module. dT = Th-Tc (in ˇăC)
DTmax Maximum difference in temperature between the cold and hot side of the thermoelectric modules
when Imax is applied and there is no heat load applied to the module.
