Super flux, High flux LEDs or Piranha (UFO) LEDs, operated at 30mA or 50mA and with rectangular packages of 4 pins, emit much more brightly than that of normal through hole packages. It generally has three types of size, 3mm.5mm and 7.6mm(or flat top), coming with white, warm white, red, green, blue, yellow(amber) and RGB or RGY.It is more and more used in the various lighting applications particularly in automotive industry, like in tail,stop and turn lighting.
